MODEL 888
This Heavy Duty Butt Welder is 85 KVA rated at 50% duty cycle, air operated and set-up with standard features including welder control.

FEATURES:
	Heavy duty welded steel frame.
	Two stage electric footswitch.
	Rapid die space adjustment.
	Clamping dies which are operated by independent air cylinders.
	Upset weld force applied by additional air cylinder.
	Water-cooled die holders.
	Water-cooled Welding Transformer rated 85 KVA @ 50% duty cycle.
	Microprocessor control, fully synchronous with 300 weld schedule memory. Single spot and auto-repeat capability. Upslope, Pulsation and Quench/Temper functions. Phase shift weld current adjustments permits fine tuning of each transformer tap setting from 20% - 99% in 1% increments. Includes water-cooled SCR contactor.

FEATURES:
	Water-cooled Arms and Transformer.

	Complete with synchronous Electronic Timer 2 to 65 cycles and SCR contactor.
	Compensation Circuit for better results when joining coated, dirty or slightly rusted material.
	Phase Shift Heat Control, permits vernier adjustment of current for welding light gauge materials and stainless steel.
	A built-in Differential Pressure Switch, operates the timer when the electrode force is correct.
	All transformers are coated with Class "F" insulation material that does not dry out or become brittle. Tests were made using 4000 volts.
